COURSE OBJECTIVES: This course is the second in the series of the advanced introduction to Austronesian syntax. The main focus of the course will be on reading and critiquing primary literature in the generative grammar. Particular attention will be paid to a close examination of classifiers, NP/DP structures, and argument structure. |
